Sometimes, to many times, the person coming in first is not the Champion --- at least in real life.
I see that you have talent, and the more you write, the more it will reveal itself.
With an acrostic, it must stand on its own without a photo to make it understandable. I think yours did, and the words you chose, made the piece more universal in nature.
