Bengaluru darshana (ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದರ್ಶನ) - Duniya (ದುನಿಯಾ) style

Continuing my lyrics writing spree, I have composed this in lines with the Kannada movie Duniya's (ದುನಿಯಾ) hit song "Saala madiyadru thuppa thinnu ( ಸಾಲ ಮಾಡಿಯಾದ್ರೂ ತುಪ್ಪ ತಿನ್ನು)".
This is the fastest in my lyric writing spree.

One of the hits of Kannada cinema industry this year has been “Krishna’n love story”(ಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಲವ್ ಸ್ಟೋರಿ). The songs of the movie are all hits. Songs cover a range of styles - sentimental, comedy, duets etc. Here I choose a song which is about falling in love. This has a comedy oriented picturisation. Jackie (ಜಾಕಿ) styleನಲ್ಲಿ song

Jackie (ಜಾಕಿ) is released today. This latest Puneeth Rajkumar movie has already generated enough hype to become a hit. Adding to Puneeth's charisma is the director's reputation. Duniya (ದುನಿಯಾ) Suri is directing this Parvathamma Rajkumar production. Kannada cinema needs a good hit. 

The songs are already a hit. Yograj's lyrics with the peppy music, have attracted lots of ears. 

After my Pancharangi (ಪಂಚರಂಗಿ) dialogues attempt, here is another on Jackie's lyrics.

The Verdict

On Imminent verdict
Peace not tampered

A brief background to this -

Yesterday a court in India was to pronounce a verdict on a 60 year old case. This verdict was a potential threat to communal harmony of the nation. There were fears that communal violence could break out. India was on high alert and elaborate security measures were taken.

As the verdict came out in the evening,  peace and maturity prevailed. The judgment of the court was accepted by all communities and not a single unhealthy incident took place. A new step forward for us.

This blog is not a review on the Kannada movie, Yogaraj Bhat's Pancharangi.

ಯೋಗರಾಜರಿಗೆ ಕಥೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡೋ talent ಇದೆ. ಆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿರುತ್ತೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು guarantee ಆಗಿದೆ. ಪಂಚರಂಗಿಯ inspiration ಪಡೆದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಥೆ ಬರೆಯುವ ಒಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ. Read this in the conversation style of Ananth Nag and Diganth in Pancharangi.
